PACE â€“ Partnerships for Action in Education, the Hindustan Times Newspaper in Education Programme was launched in Delhi on 6th July 1998. As a concept, Newspaper in Education was pioneered by the New York times in the 1930â€™s, based on substantial evidence that newspaper reading enhances reading, writing and spelling abilities as well as increase current event knowledge.
