Business Head - New Media Initiatives & Live Entertainment
Anand joined HT Media Ltd. as Marketing Head in 2003. In his four years in Marketing, Anand was involved in three relaunches of Hindustan Times Delhi, the launch of Hindustan Times in Mumbai, the launch of HT Next and the relaunch of Hindustan. He is now the Business Head for two new initiatives at HT Media - Marketing Solutions and Events. Over the past few months, Anand's team has successfully held some key initiatives including the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, Mint Hindustan Times Luxury Conference, HT City Delhi Shopping Fest, Hindustan Times I Love Delhi, Fever 104 Concert with A.R. Rahman, Miss India Worldwide Contest, the Guinness record breaking "World's Largest Biryani" and the launch of Chandan Sparsh spa amongst others.
Anand has previously worked with Lintas India (now Lowe), Godfrey Phillips India and Electrolux India. He is an M.A in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (Kolkata).
